PITTSFIELD — The Pittsfield Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one person injured Tuesday evening.
Police received a ShotSpotter activation at approximately 8:57 p.m. in the area of 63 Dalton Avenue for one gunshot.
While officers were responding, the department received multiple reports of an individual shot.
Officers arrived and discovered a person with a single non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was treated and released from Berkshire Medical Center.
The suspect fled the area after the shooting.
