NEWBURY — State police are investigating the theft of a pop-up camper that was taken from a residence on U.S. Route 302.
Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks were notified of the theft at approximately 10:36 p.m. July 16.
The victim, Erin Smith, 33, of St. Johnsbury, reported that a Rockwood pop-up camper was removed from the property without permission, along with all belongings inside the camper.
Police said the theft occurred sometime between 4 a.m. and 10:36 p.m. July 16.
Troopers learned the camper was towed from the property by a blue truck.
The stolen camper is described as a white Rockwood pop-up camper with a blue stripe down the side.
The items were valued at more than $1,000.
