ELMIRA — Two people were arrested on petit larceny charges in separate incidents in Chemung County, according to Sheriff William A. Schrom.
Marlea L. Redder, 36, of Elmira was arrested July 22 for petit larceny, a Class A misdemeanor, for stealing from Tops Market in the Town of Southport.
Redder was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Southport Town Court at a later date.
Joseph J. McCarty, 34, of Beaver Dams was arrested July 22 for petit larceny, a Class A misdemeanor, for stealing from Wal-Mart in the Town of Horseheads on July 21.
McCarty was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Horseheads Town Court at a later date.
