COLCHESTER — A Vermont State Police trooper observed a vehicle traveling the wrong way on Interstate 89 near Exit 17 at 1:47 a.m. July 20.
The vehicle was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes when it approached the trooper from the St. Albans Barracks.
The trooper conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Jenny Mai, 43, of Swanton.
Mai was issued a citation for negligent operation and is scheduled to appear in Chittenden County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Sept. 4.
