MACEDON — The Macedon Police Department announced the arrest of Carol E. Gleason, 63, of Palmyra, following tips from the public in a shoplifting investigation.
Police had asked for help identifying a female suspect on June 26.
Gleason allegedly selected multiple items, placed them in a shopping cart and left the store without paying, according to police.
She was charged with petit larceny.
Gleason was processed at the Wayne County Jail, where she was being held on other charges.
She received an appearance ticket for Macedon Town Court on Aug. 5 at 4:30 p.m.
Gleason was returned to Wayne County Jail custody after processing.
