HOMER — Officers from the Homer Police Department arrested a local man July 21 on burglary charges following a week-long investigation.
Tucker J. Wood of James Street was charged with burglary, a Class C felony, after police determined he entered a residence through an unlocked window and ransacked the interior.
Police were dispatched to investigate a reported burglary that occurred sometime between July 14 and July 21 at a residence on James Street.
Wood was processed at the Homer Police Department and transported to Cortland County Jail for arraignment.
He was released on his own recognizance July 22 and is scheduled to appear in Town of Homer Court on Sept. 2 at 5 p.m.
