WILLIAMSTOWN — Vermont State Police arrested a 19-year-old East Montpelier man on charges of aggravated assault and false reports to law enforcement authorities following a dispute Saturday evening.
Ryan Holman was taken into custody after police responded to a report of a dispute at 137 Graham Road at 8:10 p.m.
The victim was identified as Noah Payette, 20, of Orange.
Police investigation led to Holman’s arrest on the two charges.
Holman was issued a criminal citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Aug. 6 at 8:30 a.m.
He was released following his arrest.
