WALTON — Delaware County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 27-year-old Walton man July 18 on charges stemming from a domestic dispute.
Derek Mead was charged in connection with an incident that occurred July 15 at approximately 10:58 p.m. in the Village of Walton.
Deputies responded to a domestic dispute call and determined Mead had been involved in a physical altercation with another person while a child was present.
Mead was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, criminal obstruction of breathing, assault in the third degree and unlawful imprisonment in the second degree.
All charges are class A misdemeanors under New York State Penal Law.
Mead was processed and turned over to Delaware County Correctional Facility to await centralized arraignment court.
