Rhode Island task force arrests 6 on various charges July 17

PROVIDENCE — Members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Fabio Martinez, age 32, of Cranston, on July 17 on an affidavit and arrest warrant from the Providence Police Department for possession of cocaine.

Martinez was taken into custody without incident and turned over to the Providence Police Department.

Members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Woonsocket Police Department arrested Yuniel Geraldino-Bobadilla, age 32, of Woonsocket, on July 17 on a fugitive from justice warrant from the State of New Jersey for aggravated assault with a gun.

Geraldino-Bobadilla was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Woonsocket Police Department.

The ACI Investigations Unit charged Elliot Britto, age 33, last known address of Pawtucket, with simple assault on July 17.

Britto was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he was presented as a District Court violator, granted $1,000 surety bail, and remanded to the ACI.

The ACI Investigations Unit charged Nicholas Westenfelder, age 31, last known address of Woonsocket, with violation of no contact order – 3rd or subsequent offense on July 17.

Westenfelder was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he was presented as a District Court violator, granted $3,000 surety bail, and remanded to the ACI.

The ACI Investigations Unit charged Ross Amos, age 33, last known address of Cranston, with violation of no contact order 3rd or subsequent offense on July 17.

Amos was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he was presented as a Superior Court violator, granted $3,000 surety bail, and remanded to the ACI.

The ACI Investigations Unit charged Darrian Phillips, age 25, last known address of Central Falls, with assault on correctional officer on July 17.

Phillips was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he was presented as a District Court violator, granted $5,000 surety bail, and remanded to the ACI.
