DELHI — Sheriff Craig DuMond announced the arrest of a Meredith resident for driving while intoxicated.
On July 16, sheriff’s deputies on patrol on State Highway 28 in the Town of Delhi observed a vehicle traveling at 75 mph in the wrong lane of traffic.
Upon conducting a traffic stop, deputies identified the operator as 61-year-old Clayton Misner of Meredith.
Upon further investigation, it was determined that Misner was operating the motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition.
Deputies arrested Misner and charged him with driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.
Misner was issued additional traffic summonses for failure to keep right, move from lane unsafely and speed.
Misner was turned over to the Delaware County Correctional Facility to await arraignment at Centralized Arraignment Processing.
