BOSTON — The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 38-year-old João Tavares of Dorchester.
Tavares was last seen Wednesday, July 16, at 2 p.m. in the area of Figurehead Lane in Quincy.
He is described as a Black non-Hispanic male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and approximately 190 pounds, with dark brown skin.
He is balding and has a black and gray beard.
He was last seen wearing a green shirt.
Tavares suffers from a developmental disability.
He is known to frequent Stratton Street in Dorchester, Uphams Corner, Fields Corner, and the area of Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard.
