Rhode Island man arrested on forgery, marijuana charges in Richmond

RICHMOND — Rhode Island State Police arrested a Johnston man early Sunday on charges of forging license plates and marijuana possession.

Troopers arrested Mishquock Northup, 25, of 26 John Street Apartment #1, Johnston, at 12:01 a.m. July 20 during a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South.

Northup was charged with forgery and counterfeiting of registration plates and possession of marijuana greater than two ounces.

He was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.

Northup was released with a future Fourth Division District Court date.
