ALBION — Police arrested a woman July 15 after she allegedly banged on windows and doors at a Crosby’s convenience store on North Main Street.

Officers responded to reports of a disturbance and found Andrea Gray nearby, who was visibly upset and yelling at individuals in the area, according to the Albion Police Department.

Witnesses reported that Gray had been aggressively confronting others at the location and making threats, causing concern for the safety of adults and children present.

Multiple witnesses provided written statements, including accounts of Gray allegedly making violent threats in front of young children.

Officers attempted to de-escalate the situation before placing Gray under arrest.

While in custody, Gray continued to make threats and threw objects at an officer during the booking process, police said.

She was transported to the Orleans County Jail and appeared before CAP Court for arraignment.

Gray was charged with second-degree harassment, disorderly conduct and endangering the welfare of a child.
