UTICA — Police have charged a 50-year-old woman in connection with a January burglary where the suspect removed the front door of an apartment.
Sanela Dizdarevic of Utica was charged July 14 with burglary in the second degree and grand larceny in the third degree.
Police were dispatched Jan. 13 to a residence in the 900 block of Bleecker Street regarding a burglary investigation.
An unknown individual had removed the front door to an apartment and stole nearly $10,000 in cash and other property, police said.
The investigation was assigned to a member of the Criminal Investigations Division, who identified Dizdarevic as a suspect.
