NEW BERLIN — A 54-year-old man who walked away from an adult day care facility Friday morning has been found safe, police said.
Timothy Wolter left the facility at 10:30 a.m. Friday and was last seen in the 2000 block of S. 170th Street.
Wolter is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing a green and blue baseball cap, a blue sweatshirt over a black T-shirt, blue or gray sweatpants and was carrying a tan backpack.
Police said Wolter has cognitive disabilities but does communicate and speak.
The New Berlin Police Department announced he had been found safe and thanked the public for sharing information about the search.
