Brooklyn man arrested in Haverstraw credit card fraud case

HAVERSTRAW — A 26-year-old Brooklyn man has been arrested in connection with a credit card fraud investigation that targeted a local business.

Diamond Dinnall was arrested July 17 after police determined he traveled to Haverstraw to make fraudulent purchases using stolen credit card information, according to the Haverstraw Police Department.

The incident resulted in a loss of over $2,000 to the business.

The investigation was conducted in collaboration with the NYPD and Westchester County law enforcement, leading to the identification and apprehension of the suspect.

Dinnall has been charged with grand larceny in the 4th degree, a class E felony.

The defendant was arraigned in the Village of Haverstraw Justice Court, where he was released on his own recognizance.

A criminal complaint is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
