Boston police arrest most wanted suspect on multiple warrants

BOSTON — Officers assigned to District C-11 arrested a most wanted suspect on multiple outstanding warrants Friday afternoon in Dorchester.

James Wheeler, 36, of New Bedford, was stopped by police outside 545 Freeport Street at about 2 p.m. July 18.

Officers determined Wheeler had multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest.

Wheeler was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.

The charges from the multiple warrants include larceny over $1,200, breaking and entering, and receiving stolen property.
