WATERTOWN — The Watertown Police Department Detective Bureau concluded a several months long narcotics investigation Thursday with the execution of search and seizure warrants.

Watertown Police were assisted in this investigation by the Connecticut State Police Violent Crimes Task Force and the Waterbury Police Department.

The subject of this investigation is David Kolonsky, 36, of 24 Englewood Avenue, Oakville, for the potential sale of narcotics in the Watertown and Waterbury area.

During the course of this investigation, probable cause was developed to obtain search and seizure warrants for Kolonsky’s residence and his two vehicles.

The warrants were executed Thursday afternoon, resulting in the seizure of approximately $12,000 in cash, as well as fentanyl, cocaine, oxycodone, packaging supplies, cutting agents and a blender containing fentanyl.

Kolonsky was arrested and charged with four counts of sale of narcotics, operating a drug factory and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kolonsky later posted bond and was issued a court date of July 29 in the Waterbury Superior Court.
