PORT JERVIS — Members of the Port Jervis Police Department responded to Dunkin’ Donuts for a well-being check on two individuals who were nodding out in the vehicle.
Officers observed drug paraphernalia in plain view within the vehicle.
A subsequent investigation led to the location of approximately 235 bags of heroin/fentanyl, 68 pills, 12 grams of crack cocaine, one scale, additional drug paraphernalia, and $5,895 cash.
A female resident of Port Jervis was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance/narcotic 3rd, narcotic drug with intent to sell, and criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd: scales.
