WESTMORELAND — A juvenile was charged with second-degree criminal mischief after allegedly driving a vehicle on the Skenandoa Club golf course, causing more than $4,000 in damage, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.
Patrol units were dispatched to the golf course on the morning of July 2 after club employees discovered damage to greens and fairways that appeared to have been caused by a vehicle.
Sheriff Robert M. Maciol said the case was turned over to the Criminal Investigations and Juvenile Aid Units.
The juvenile, whose name was not released due to age, was charged with criminal mischief in the second degree, a class D felony.
The juvenile was arraigned in Oneida County Court Youth Part and released on their own recognizance to a parent with an upcoming return date.
