Clifton Park man arrested on grand larceny charges in CVS thefts

CLIFTON PARK — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jeremy Proleon-Carmen on Tuesday on arrest warrants issued by the Clifton Park Town Court.

The 20-year-old Paterson, N.J. resident faces charges of grand larceny in the 3rd degree, a class D felony, grand larceny in the 4th degree, a class E felony, and two counts of conspiracy in the 5th degree, class A misdemeanors.

Proleon-Carmen was arrested in Wayne, N.J. after waiving extradition.

He is accused of stealing merchandise from two separate CVS stores in Clifton Park on April 21.

At one store, the value of the stolen merchandise exceeded $3,000 and at the other it exceeded $1,000.

He is also charged with agreeing with one or more persons to engage in conduct that constituted a felony.

Proleon-Carmen was arraigned before the Honorable Robert A. Rybak in the Clifton Park Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
