Chemung County sheriff reports 3 arrests for harassment, disorderly conduct, drug possession

ELMIRA — The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office reported three arrests July 15-16 on charges ranging from aggravated harassment to drug possession.

Anthony M. Bohart, 41, of Corning, was arrested July 15 for aggravated harassment in the second degree, a Class A misdemeanor, after sending threatening text messages in the Town of Southport.

Bohart was arraigned by Ashland Town Court, where an order of protection was issued, and he was released.

Daniel E. Walker, 38, of Elmira Heights, was arrested July 15 for disorderly conduct, a violation, following a complaint of a pedestrian throwing trash into the highway in the Town of Big Flats.

Walker was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Big Flats Town Court at a later date.

Jillian L. Sloan, 39, of Erin, was arrested July 16 on two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a Class A misdemeanor, after a traffic stop in the Town of Erin.

Sloan was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Erin Town Court at a later date.
