4 injured in altercation at Littleton boat launch

LITTLETON — Four people sustained minor lacerations in an altercation involving edged weapons at the Moore Reservoir boat launch Tuesday evening, according to the Littleton Police Department.

Police responded to the Dodge Hill Boat Launch at approximately 8:37 p.m. after receiving a report of a stabbing.

All four injured individuals had fled into surrounding woods before officers arrived at the scene, where approximately 40 people were present.

Officers located two of the individuals during a search of the wooded area and returned them to the landing for treatment of minor injuries.

The Littleton Police Department was assisted by New Hampshire State Police, Franconia Police Department and Littleton Fire Rescue.

Fire rescue personnel treated two people at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries, though neither required transport to Littleton Regional Healthcare.

A K-9 tracking unit was deployed to search for the two remaining individuals.

At approximately 11:05 p.m., the remaining two people were located on North Littleton Road and treated for minor injuries.

The four individuals involved in the altercation were a 21-year-old female, a 29-year-old male, a 21-year-old male and an 18-year-old male, all of whom were detained for questioning.

Police interviewed numerous witnesses, though not all provided information.

Three people were arrested at the scene on unrelated Superior Court warrants: Carlie Mason, 21, of Laconia; Dominic Sumner, 29, of Jonesville, N.C.; and Danielle Leach, 39, of Littleton.

All three were transported to the Grafton County House of Correction.

The investigation remains active due to the number of people present and conflicting accounts.
