WEST FAIRLEE — A 40-year-old West Fairlee woman was arrested on multiple warrants and driving violations following a trespassing investigation on Vermont Route 113 late Sunday night.

Josephine Farnham was taken into custody at approximately 11:43 p.m. July 13 after troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks responded to a reported trespassing incident.

Investigation revealed that Farnham had not trespassed on any property but had driven from Vershire to West Fairlee with a criminally suspended license.

Farnham was also found to be in violation of court-issued conditions of release that prohibited her from driving a vehicle without a valid license.

She had three active arrest warrants out of Orange County Superior Court.

Farnham was issued citations to appear in Orange County Superior Court – Criminal Division on July 15 at 12:30 p.m.
