Hooksett woman arrested in hit-and-run crash involving juvenile pedestrian

HOOKSETT — A 51-year-old Manchester woman has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a juvenile pedestrian on July 3.

Hooksett police responded to the area of Londonderry Turnpike and Farmer Road at around 4:45 p.m. for a crash report.

Police determined that a juvenile pedestrian had been crossing the road and was struck by a vehicle that left the scene.

The juvenile was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

Approximately 40 minutes later, Shanin Gladysz called 911 to advise that she was the driver and had struck the juvenile.

An arrest warrant was completed for conduct after an accident.

On July 11, Gladysz turned herself in at the Hooksett Police Department where she was booked and released on personal recognizance bail.

She has a court date of Aug. 21 at the 6th Circuit Court in Hooksett.
