ADDISON — Vermont State Police arrested a 45-year-old woman on charges of first-degree aggravated domestic assault following a family disturbance Sunday evening.
Police were notified of the disturbance on Tri Town Road at approximately 7:11 p.m. July 13.
Through investigation, authorities determined that Allison J. Richards of Addison had caused pain and/or bodily injury to a family or household member.
Richards was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police New Haven Barracks for processing.
She was issued court-ordered conditions of release and released with a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division on July 14 at 12:30 p.m.
Vermont State Police do not release the names of victims of sexual assault or domestic violence.
