FAIRFAX — A 24-year-old Cambridge man who went missing while kayaking Saturday evening has been found alive and well.
Vermont State Police at the St. Albans Barracks received a report at approximately 8:42 p.m. July 12 that Garrett Martin had gone missing in the area of Goose Pond Road in Fairfax.
Martin was last known to be kayaking with a group at approximately 7 p.m. but had strayed from the group.
Police described Martin as a white male, approximately 6 feet 3 inches tall, 185 pounds with a slim build, brown eyes and brown hair.
The incident did not appear suspicious, though there were concerns for Martin’s welfare.
Martin was later located safe.
