HOOKSETT — A Manchester woman was arrested for the second time in three days for being in possession of a stolen vehicle, police said.

Misty Hayes, 47, of Manchester, was taken into custody at 12:47 p.m. July 12 in the parking lot of Shaw’s at 1328 Hooksett Road.

Officers responded to a suspicious activity call involving a white Ram van and found Hayes seated in the driver’s seat with the vehicle running.

A registration check revealed the license plate was listed as stolen out of Vermont and was not registered to the van.

A VIN check showed the van was stolen from Derry.

Hayes was charged with two counts of receiving stolen property and transported to the Hooksett Police Department for booking.

Hayes was previously arrested July 9 by the Keene Police Department for also being in possession of a stolen vehicle.

She was held on $5,000 cash bail and transported to the Merrimack County Jail.

Hayes is scheduled for arraignment July 14 at the 6th Circuit Hooksett District Court.
