Concord man cited in domestic assault case

CONCORD — Vermont State Police troopers responded to a domestic assault report July 9 at approximately 7:39 p.m.

Investigation revealed that John Levesque, 57, of Concord, had committed domestic assault and left the scene before officers arrived.

Levesque was later located in St. Johnsbury and transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.

He was issued a citation to appear in Essex County Superior Court – Criminal Division on July 10 at 12:30 p.m.

The Vermont State Police does not release the names of victims of sexual assault or domestic violence.
