Owego police report 5 arrests, 203 calls for service in weekly summary

OWEGO — The Owego Police Department responded to 203 calls for service during the week of June 30 through July 6, according to a department press release.

Police made five arrests during the week-long period.

Officers also investigated six motor vehicle accidents and issued 23 traffic tickets.

Chelsey M. Davis, 37, of Binghamton, was arrested on an arrest warrant for criminal contempt in the first degree, a felony, issued by the Broome County Sheriff’s Office for violation of a court restraining order.

Davis was turned over to the Broome County Sheriff’s Warrant Squad for arraignment at Broome County Centralized Arraignment Court.

Noble I. Walker, 24, of Richford, was arrested following a traffic stop on Southside Drive on charges of resisting arrest, obstruction of governmental administration in the second degree, and aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, all misdemeanors.

Walker also was cited for violations including improper exhaust, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, tinted windshield, tinted side windows and safety chains dragging.

Walker was issued traffic tickets returnable to Village of Owego Court.

Keith A. Hart, 64, of Owego, was arrested following a traffic stop on West Main Street for operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, a misdemeanor, and indistinctive license plate, a violation.

Hart was issued traffic tickets returnable to Village of Owego Court.

Brittany R. Kreider, 37, of Owego, was arrested on an arrest warrant for criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, a felony, issued by Village of Owego Court.

Kreider was turned over to Tioga County Sheriff’s custody for arraignment at Tioga County Centralized Arraignment Court.

Jacqueline A. Miller, 39, of Endicott, was arrested following a traffic stop on North Avenue for operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, a misdemeanor.

Miller was issued a traffic ticket returnable to Village of Owego Court.
