NEW BEDFORD — Two juveniles were arrested after officers responded to an incident Tuesday night that left one man injured.
On July 8, officers responded to a report of a stabbing at Custom House Square.
Upon arrival, they located a 63-year-old man suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds.
The victim reported that he had been robbed and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Following a brief investigation, officers located two juveniles in the area.
One juvenile, who was determined to be a bystander, was taken into custody due to an active warrant.
The second juvenile was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a person over 60, assault and battery, and armed robbery.
The juvenile was transported to the Brockton Department of Youth Services.
