EAST CORINTH — A New Hampshire man has been charged with lewd and lascivious conduct following an incident at a local general store ice cream shop.
The Vermont State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation at the St. Johnsbury Barracks began investigating on June 14 after receiving a report of inappropriate behavior at the East Corinth General Store on Route 25.
The investigation identified Kevin Magoon, 66, of Milton, N.H., as the individual involved in the June 13 incident at 7:21 p.m.
Magoon was charged July 9 with lewd and lascivious conduct and issued a citation to appear at Orange County Superior Court.
He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 6 to answer to the charge.
Magoon was released after processing.
