BENNINGTON — Vermont State Police arrested a Massachusetts man on suspicion of driving under the influence after receiving a report of erratic driving on Vermont Route 9.
Andrew Lyons, 24, of Winchendon, Mass., was taken into custody at 8:54 p.m. July 7 following a traffic stop.
Police received a report of a vehicle traveling on Vermont Route 9 in Woodford that was unable to maintain its lane.
Troopers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop after observing multiple violations.
Lyons displayed multiple indicators of impairment, according to police.
He was transported to the Shaftsbury barracks for processing.
Lyons was released on citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Bennington Criminal Division on July 28 at 8:30 a.m.
