SCOTT — A 35-year-old man turned himself in to authorities July 7 on felony charges stemming from a June burglary investigation.
Coty T. Cute of North Tower Road in the town of Solon was arrested at 7:40 a.m. and charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree grand larceny and third-degree criminal mischief, all felonies.
Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched June 3 at 6:42 p.m. to an address on Cold Brook Road in the town of Scott for a burglary investigation.
Through the investigation, authorities determined Cute entered a residence on Cold Brook Road and stole several items from within the home.
Cute then exited the home and stole the victim’s all-terrain vehicle, according to the sheriff’s office.
An arrest warrant was issued for Cute on July 1.
Cute was arraigned through the Centralized Arraignment Process on July 7 at 10:00 a.m.
He was remanded to the Cortland County Jail on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bail bond.
Cute’s next court appearance is scheduled in the town of Scott Court on July 15 at 7:00 p.m.
