WORCESTER — Two juvenile males were arrested July 5 in connection with an armed robbery of a cab driver on Independence Day.

Worcester police officers were dispatched to Uxbridge Street at approximately 5:27 p.m. Friday for a report of an armed robbery.

Upon arrival, officers were approached by the victim, a cab driver.

The driver said he picked up two juvenile males in the area of Gardener and Main streets.

The cabbie requested payment after he stopped at the corner of Uxbridge Street and Green Hill Parkway.

The victim said the occupants refused to pay and he observed one of the males pull out a firearm and hold it up to the driver’s seat.
