Woman arrested in Putney for violating abuse prevention order

PUTNEY — A Marlboro woman was arrested Friday evening after a traffic stop revealed she was violating an abuse prevention order.

Annalicia Blake, 36, was a passenger in a vehicle stopped by a Vermont State Police trooper on River Road South at approximately 5:04 p.m.

The trooper from the Westminster Barracks had initiated the traffic stop after observing a motor vehicle violation.

During the investigation, police determined Blake was in violation of an abuse prevention order.

Blake was arrested and transported to the Westminster Barracks for processing.

She was issued a criminal citation to appear before Windham County Superior Court on July 7 at 12:30 p.m.
