Williamstown man arrested on multiple warrants at convenience store

WILLIAMSTOWN — A 31-year-old Williamstown man was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants Friday afternoon at a local convenience store.

Roger Mucherino was taken into custody at 12:30 p.m. at the Pump and Pantry by Vermont State Police and Berlin Town Police Department officers.

Mucherino faced warrants for buying, selling, receiving or possessing stolen property, counterfeiting, false pretenses or false tokens, leaving the scene of a crash, negligent vehicle operation, eluding law enforcement, driving with a suspended license, and violation of probation.

He was transported to the Northeast Correctional Facility.
