SHERBURNE — The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal hit-and-run accident involving a car and pedestrian.
The incident took place on July 4 at about 8:45 p.m. on State Highway 80 near the Rogers Conservation Center.
Authorities are searching for a newer model black Ram crew cab pickup truck with black rims and damage to the front right passenger side.
Police have not provided any more information at this time.
