ALEXANDRIA — A Greenville woman died Friday evening after her motorcycle crashed on West Shore Road at the Bristol town line.
Megan Bouchard, 25, was riding a red 2007 Ducati motorcycle northbound on West Shore Road when the motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve and crashed at 5:39 p.m. July 4, according to New Hampshire State Police.
Bouchard suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The preliminary investigation indicates speed and alcohol may have contributed to the collision, but all aspects of the crash remain under investigation.
The southbound lane of West Shore Road was closed during the roadside investigation.
Troopers from the Troop F barracks were assisted by members of the Bristol Police Department, Bristol Fire Department and Alexandria Fire Department.
