STOCKTON — A 46-year-old Stockton man has been arrested on child pornography charges following a lengthy investigation by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
Timothy Napoleon Sr. surrendered himself at the sheriff’s office on July 3 and was taken into custody by investigators.
The Criminal Investigation Division initiated the investigation in 2024 into the promotion and possession of internet-based child pornography in the Town of Gerry.
Investigators identified Napoleon as the person responsible for the crimes through their investigation.
Napoleon was later located and his devices were seized.
Investigators found images portraying obscene sexual performances being performed by children during their investigation.
Napoleon was charged with promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child and possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child.
He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
Napoleon will answer for his charges in Chautauqua County Supreme Court.
