SHERBURNE — A 43-year-old Sherburne man was arrested Tuesday on charges of third-degree burglary and third-degree grand larceny in connection with a stolen motorcycle.
Delbert F. Dewey Jr. was taken into custody by the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office after deputies found the stolen motorcycle at his residence.
Deputies took a report of the stolen motorcycle Monday in the town of Sherburne.
Dewey was seen in the area of the stolen motorcycle while deputies were conducting neighborhood interviews.
Deputies stopped to speak with Dewey the following day at his residence, where they observed the motorcycle in question.
Dewey was located and taken into custody without incident.
He was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Town of Sherburne Court at a later date.
