Missing 66-year-old Roxbury woman found safe, Boston police say

BOSTON — A 66-year-old Roxbury woman who had been reported missing has been located, Boston police said.

Miriam Pena was found safe, according to the Boston Police Department, which canceled its missing person alert.

Pena was last seen on Regent Street at 3 p.m. wearing a white tank top, blue jeans and dark Crocs.

She was described as a Hispanic woman, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 128 pounds with brown eyes and gray and black hair in a ponytail.

Police said Pena was last observed walking near Boston Common.

Pena has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, according to police.
