Hamden man arrested for violating protection order

HAMDEN — A Kerhonkson man was arrested Thursday on charges stemming from an order of protection violation in the Town of Hamden.

Delaware County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the violation at approximately 10 a.m. June 26.

Investigation revealed that Bradley Grant, 34, of Kerhonkson violated a full stay away order of protection by contacting the victim, according to Sheriff Craig DuMond.

Grant was charged with one count of criminal contempt in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor under New York State Penal Law.

Grant was released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Hamden Court at a later date.
