BATH — An officer with the Village of Bath Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Haverling Street June 27 at approximately 8 p.m. for a violation of the NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law.
During the course of the investigation, a search of the vehicle was conducted and a quantity of methamphetamine was located.
As a result, Gordon H. Clayson, age 55, of Penn Yan, was arrested and charged with one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Clayson was issued a traffic ticket for driving without a license.
Clayson was processed and released on an appearance ticket, and is due in Bath Village Court at a later date.
