VERNON — A 47-year-old man was arrested on drug charges Monday after police found him unresponsive behind the wheel of a vehicle on Murray Road.
William L. Laurinaitis was taken into custody at 10:23 a.m. following reports of an unresponsive male passed out in a car, according to South Windsor Police Department.
During the investigation, officers located approximately seven wax folds containing fentanyl and two glass smoking pipes.
Laurinaitis was charged with use of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
He was processed and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.
Laurinaitis is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Wednesday, July 16, at 9 a.m.
