LAWRENCE — Officers responded to a burglar alarm call just after midnight on June 23, which was later updated to a shots fired incident.
The victim, a male, sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg during an argument involving multiple individuals.
The suspect was identified due to a prior encounter with officers earlier that night during a trespassing call at the Geisler State Pool.
With assistance from the Detective Division and investigative resources, an arrest was made, resolving the incident.
