Man arrested on drug charge during traffic stop in West Greenwich

WEST GREENWICH — Rhode Island State Police arrested a Connecticut man on drug possession charges following a traffic stop on Route 95 North on Jan. 15.

Christopher Mills, 43, of Connecticut, was arrested at 7:58 a.m. for possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance – 10 grams or less.

Mills was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later taken to Third District Court for arraignment.

In a separate incident, troopers arrested Thaddeus O. Octalien, 35, of 7007 Summers Trace Terrace, Chesterfield, Virginia, at 3:30 a.m. for possession of a high capacity feeding device prohibited.

Octalien’s arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Route 102 in West Greenwich.

He was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and held for morning arraignment.
