HOMER — A Homer man was arrested Saturday night after deputies determined he was driving while intoxicated following a single-vehicle crash.
Steve P. West, 59, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated, refusal of a breath screening test, driving across hazard markings, and speeding not reasonable and prudent.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to State Route 41 near Birdsall Lane in the town of Scott at about 8:45 p.m. after reports of a crash.
West was arrested at 9:31 p.m. and taken to the sheriff’s office for processing.
He was released on uniform traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in Scott Town Court on July 15 at 7 p.m.
