Hartland woman cited for possession of stolen property

HARTLAND — A 54-year-old woman was cited for possession of stolen property after two stolen Louis Vuitton bags were recovered by a third party June 30.

Kim Ashline of Hartland was cited at 8:49 a.m. on Center Town Road following an investigation by Vermont State Police troopers from the Royalton Barracks.

The bags were stolen from the residence of Nicole Bartner, 57, of Hartland.

A third party found the stolen bags at a residence in Hartland and returned them to Bartner.

Through investigation, troopers determined that Ashline was in possession of the bags at one point.

Ashline was released on scene and is scheduled to appear in Windsor County Court in Woodstock to answer the charge.
