Halifax man arrested on domestic assault charge

HALIFAX — Vermont State Police arrested a 60-year-old Halifax man on a domestic assault charge Tuesday afternoon.

Kevin Harris was taken into custody at approximately 3:19 p.m. on Larock Lane following a family disturbance, police said.

Through investigation, police determined Harris caused pain and/or bodily injury to a family or household member.

Harris was transported to the Wilmington Police Department for processing.

He was later released with court-ordered conditions of release.

Harris is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on July 2 at 12:30 p.m. to answer to the charge.

Vermont State Police do not release the names of victims of domestic violence.
